My Travel Experience with Thrillophilia – Bheemeshwari

It was probably about three months back when I decided I needed a break and decided to head for an adventure holiday along with a bunch of friends. I was not sure of where to head and what really to do, all I wanted was to just chill out for a couple of days far away from the maddening crowd, get some adrenaline rush and head back totally rejuvenated. It was then that one of my friends mentioned about this memorable adventure team outing that he had been to, about a year back, along with his office mates. His words of praise for the event managers made me too want to get in touch with them to make our little holiday a truly memorable one.

The moment I got in touch with Thrillophilia Adventure Tours and discussed with them on my holiday package, I knew I had an awesome trip to look forward to! They helped me decide on a place to suit my specifications. Bheemeshwari it was.

Finally the D-day arrived and we were picked up by the trainer from Thrillophilia, from the decided upon picking point and we headed to our destination. Adventure Bheemeshwari begins!  The two hours journey from Bangalore to Bheemeshwari was full of frolic and really pumped us all up for the adventures that lay ahead of us.

Upon reaching destination, we were guided into out resorts. Oh man! Was it enchanting?! Artistically built, bamboo lodges surrounded by sweet smelling plants with vibrantly colored flowers. We took a minute to admire these finer details before we checked in, freshened up and headed towards our first adventure activity of the day, white water rafting.

I was told Bheemeshwari is the best place in Karnataka for white water rafting. The shimmering sun peaking through the canopied trees over our heads, as we walked towards the starting point for the rafting activity. The banks of River Cauvery, which greeted us with glitters as if studded with a million diamonds was where our rafting expedition started.

Geared up in the rented rafting clothes, we bundled up into the raft, brimming with excitement and eagerness. The waterway took us through a splendid route between the lush green forests inhabited by lovely wildlife, doubling our rafting trip as a safari of sorts. The rushing water, bumping against rocks and boulder, jumping to create rapids, made our rafting trip super fun. Our screams of delights merged with the frequent cries of wildlife from the dense vegetation all around us.

Finally, by early afternoon, we headed back to our rooms to relax a bit. We had lunch and then headed straight back into the wilderness for a trek into the wild. Walking amidst nature at its best is truly a captivating experience. No words of appreciation can completely do justice to the charming beauty of the place.  Just as we were thinking our trip had been the best it can, our friendly tour guide asks to halt and briefs us about our next adventure team building activity. He actually made us feel like we grew wings, as we indulged jummarring right in the midst of the dense jungle! It was the most exhilarating experience in our lives and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Finally, as night fell, we made our way back to our rooms for a good night’s sleep. By early next morning, after a scrumptious breakfast at the resort, we headed back home hearts filled with satisfaction and beautiful memories, and minds refueled and recharged to go on with life again!
